CITT members are full-time caregivers who are eligible for benefits and paid a higher pay rate. In return for this, you agree to the following terms:
Scheduling of all CITT assignments must be done through the CITT scheduler. Department managers and CITT members may not commit to or schedule assignments on their own. When possible, the CITT scheduler will provide reasonable notice of assignment, however, caregivers who have not received approval for time off will be expected to accept assignments regardless of notice provided.
In rare circumstances, the requesting department may cancel their request for CITT coverage. If cancellation occurs less than 72 hours prior to the start of the assignment, every attempt will be made to reassign you. If you cannot be reassigned for at least 36 hours that same workweek, you will be paid 36 hours and the department that requested coverage will be charged.
CITT caregivers shall request time off by submitting planned PTO to the CITT scheduler according to the following table. Requests for time off will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Approval is not guaranteed.
In the event of illness or emergency, the CITT caregiver shall notify the manager of the department they are assigned to and the CITT scheduler at least 2 hours in advance of the scheduled start time, when possible.
Mileage will be reimbursed under the following circumstances:
If you transfer out from the CITT, you will need to wait six months to be eligible to reapply for consideration. Caregivers may change between the System Team and the Regional Team only one time per 12-month period.
